Ashley Bivens
• Worked with LDA, The Parent Network and EPIC (Every Person Influences Children) to develop a collaborative program that addresses the complex and disruptive effects of adverse childhood experiences (ACES) on a child’s development.
• Identified programmatic synergies and then created a Venn diagram of program overlaps between the Learning Disabilities Association, EPIC, and Parent Network. Proposed next steps and collaborations based on dual programming for the organizations.
• Studied other national ACES studies and programs.
• Researched ACES screening tools and home visiting programs nationally and locally to determine possible fits for the three organizations.
