What Did You Work On: I co-facilitate produce markets at various Buffalo health centers, learn the daily operations and maintenance of an urban farm, and research for several projects and grants to support the organization.

Summer Takeaway: I learned a sleuth of skills ranging from running a mobile market to the process of grant-writing. I feel grateful being a jack-of-all-trades this summer and exploring my skills and passions with such an impactful organization.

Career Goals: I still have a few more years in undergrad, so I would like to continue engaging with community activists/organizations in my current food and environmental justice involvements, such as Anabel's Grocery and the Sunrise Movement.
