Coalition for Economic Justice (CEJ), formed in 1986 by faith and community leaders, is a permanent coalition of labor, faith, community, and university organizations advocating and empowering working families. CEJ seeks to improve living standards and level the playing field in WNY and beyond, by forging effective alliances and building lasting partnerships, by educating the community, and by providing a public voice for working people and low-income families. CEJ is the Buffalo affiliate of the NYS Labor-Religion Coalition and Jobs with Justice.
