Overview

This live webinar will outline strategies for serving justice-involved populations in New York state. Justice-involved youth with disabilities tend to benefit from Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) at lower rates than their peers who aren’t justice involved. This session will focus on specific strategies relevant to New York state and its local areas, including efforts around resource mapping, interagency collaboration, and centering youth and families.

Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credits will be available through this session.

Presenters: Dr. Matthew Saleh, Dr. LaWanda Cook
