The ILR High Road New York initiative is an expansion of the ILR School’s long-standing High Road Buffalo Fellowship Program. The program aims to immerse ILR students in meaningful community engaged experiences and exposure to engaged leadership. Learn more about High Road on our About High Road page.
In its third year, the Summer 2025 High Road New York City Fellowship Program will run from June 2 to August 1, 2025.
Students intern in person with various NYC partner organizations and will participate in weekly cohort workshops focused on critical reflection and peer-to-peer collaboration and networking and learning opportunities with guest speakers will be offered at ILR's NYC office on Lexington Avenue.
All interns will be paid and need-based subsidized housing will be available. Students must be returning students in the Fall 2025 semester to be eligible. Students may apply for more than one opportunity. Applications open in the first week of January of each year.
