ILR Extension Hosts Lemniscaat Management School of The Netherlands
ILR Extension is conducting a special program for Lemniscaat Management School, the Netherlands, June 20-25 in Ithaca. A group of 21 students, made up of experienced managers and professionals from the Netherlands, are being accompanied by Lemniscaat managing director Eugène Valentijn and associate professor Arthur Wassenberg.
The curriculum has been designed by ILR Extension in consultation with colleagues at Lemniscaat to consider issues of human resources and business management. Sessions include Strategic Decision-making, The Influence of National Culture on Organization, Global Competence in HR Practice, Partnerships and Alliances, and Change Management in Practice. ILR faculty members Lisa Nishii and Robert Rich, together Michael Hostetler and Jan Suwinski of Cornell's Johnson School of Management will present. This is the third year ILR Extension has conducted the program.
The seminar kicks-off with an interactive session led by Frederico Castellanos, vice president of HR for IBM Global Sales & Distribution.
