The summer fellow to assist the Pre-Employment Program in the job development. This would consist of preparing a marketing plan to showcase the HUB Pre-Employment Program as well as the candidates for placements to employers. In addition he would create a relationship with the Human Resources departments of local companies, unions and other organizations. We currently have working relationships with union apprenticeship programs with the Cement, Plumbers and Carpenters unions. The summer fellow would assist in increasing numbers of referrals and communication with these partners among helping us in building others.
They would be encouraged to visit these companies and organizations to market the program. They would also participate in the Employer Advisory Board and help in expanding this group.
