Overview
Alex Kowalski is an assistant professor in the Human Resource Studies department. He studies the consequences of passing business risk onto employees and whether employee participation and input can yield better quality jobs and organizational performance. His research is situated in the e-commerce and logistics industry.
He received his PhD from MIT. He also holds a Master’s in City Planning from UC-Berkeley. Before graduate school, he was an economics reporter for Bloomberg News.
