Tina Stover

Data Associate

Tina is a Data Associate at the Yang-Tan Institute. She supports the New York State Education Department’s Special Education Technical Assistance Partnership for Data (TAP for Data), a professional development initiative.

Tina has experience with teaching, educational administration, and providing technical assistance in specially designed instruction to area schools. She has taught in an 8:1+1 and a 12:1+1 classroom, working as a Special Education School Improvement Specialist (SESIS), and she has most recently served as a school administrator for the Honeoye Central School District.

Her research interests focus on ensuring equitable learning opportunities for students with disabilities by tailoring resources and supports to their unique needs and by creating an inclusive environment where every student has access to a high-quality education and a chance to succeed. She believes that collaborating with regional and district leadership to support data-driven decision-making can significantly enhance outcomes for these students. She emphasizes leveraging data-driven approaches and improving collaborative practices to achieve positive results for all students.
