Scheinman Institute Director and ILERA President Harry Katz Featured in New Video
For more than 50 years, the International Labor and Employment Relations Association (ILERA) has become a critical resource in the understanding of work related issues globally. A new video produced by Don Bazley of the ILR marketing team chronicles its history and purpose.
Harry C. Katz, Director of the Scheinman Institute and Jack Sheinkman Professor of Collective Bargaining, is featured in the video. In 2021, he was elected President of ILERA. His focus during his tenure is to help areas such as Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa develop the study of human resource management, labor management, labor policy and labor rights. The goal is for ILERA to provide the expertise to the improve the conditions of workers from child labor to health and safety.
