New Class to Cover Conflict in a Union Environment
Ellen Gallin-Procida, the Scheinman Institute's Director of Labor-Management Relations Programs, and Lawrence Becker, former Chief Executive for Labor Policy of the NYC Department of Education will be co-teaching Conflict in a Union Environment, May 8-10. This in-person, NYC class will focus on the roles of union representatives and supervisors, rules and norms of a unionized environment, pre-discipline, just cause, communication skills and problem-solving applied to labor-management meetings.
