Interview: Ariel Avgar speaks with Louis Gimbel about pandemic changes to brewing industry

ILR's Professor Ariel Avgar spoke with Louis Gimbel of Hopsteiner about how the pandemic has affected the brewing, dining, and hospitality industries.

Louis outlined the drastic changes that people's purchasing decisions have made to breweries across the country. He also spoke about the impact that changes to laws and policies have had, and the work that businesses have had to do to address production, HR, and financial changes brought about by COVID-19.

Louis Gimbel is CEO of Hopsteiner, a family-owned global supplier of hops and hop products to brewers.  Louis holds a bachelor’s degree from the ILR school and is a member of the ILR Dean’s Advisory Council.
