Francine D. Blau, the Frances Perkins Professor of Industrial and Labor Relations, and a professor in the Cornell Department of Economics, and Erica Groshen, senior economics adviser at the ILR School, discussed how pandemic has altered how we view the labor market.
Distinguishing between “essential” and other workers, was one of the topics covered in the webinar which also explored issues such as the trustworthiness of official data, given marketplace turbulence and the inability to collect numbers through personal interviews.
