Amalia Schneider

Amalia is a senior from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania studying Industrial and Labor Relations with minors in Spanish and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. She participated as a student in the ILR Vietnam Engaged Learning Program in 2022 and as a program assistant (PA) consecutively in the 2023 and 2024 sessions. She also participated in the India Global Engaged Learning Program in the summer of 2023 and will be graduating as a Global Scholar. As captain of Cornell’s Spanish Debate Team, Amalia is passionate about using debate and communication skills to empower others to find and use their voice in a way that fosters meaningful conflict resolution.
