Kaitlyn Jackson
Kaitlyn is a Policy Associate for the Yang Tan Institute on Employment and Disability and brings over 10 years of experience across the employment, education, public policy, and technical assistance sectors to the team. Kaitlyn is currently supporting the Center for Advancing Policy on Employment for Youth (CAPE Youth) project funded by the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP). She is also working on an evaluation for the Inclusive Career Advancement Program (ICAP) for the state of Oregon.
Kaitlyn is currently working on completing a PhD in Education Policy from the University of Rochester’s Warner School of Education. Kaitlyn’s areas of interest and research include access to high-quality work-based learning opportunities for young adults with disabilities.
Kaitlyn previously directed the employment programs at the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities at the University of Rochester Medical Center, served as the New York Project SEARCH statewide coordinator and worked in Washington, D.C. on federal policy issues impacting young adults with disabilities.
