Linda Barrington, Ph.D.

Dr. Linda Barrington is an economic historian, Associate Dean of Strategy and Societal Impact for the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University, and Executive Director of ILR’s Institute for Compensation Studies. Her work appears in Historical Statistics of the United States: Millennial Edition; Journal of Economic History; and Review of Economics and Statistics; among others, and she has edited and been contributing author to three scholarly books including The Other Side of the Frontier: Economic Explorations into Native American History. She has been involved in many grants, including Co-PI on a $4 million award by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Institute of Disability and Rehabilitation Research.
