Rafael Bitanga

Mabuhay! Rafael was born in Laoag City, Philippines before emigrating to Kodiak, Alaska in 2009 where he joined his parents who were both cannery laborers. Rafael is a senior at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and minoring in education and leadership. He is also a member of the Hotel School’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Student Committee. Rafael learned how to develop websites to share the stories from the courses he taught while in college. As a result, he is founder and principal of Bitanga Productions Video Marketing | Bitanga Productions | Ithaca. Currently, he is also working on a startup to help freelancers manage their clients efficiently using predictive and generative AI. During the weekend, he hosts dinners by inviting two interesting people where they discuss anything from the future of AI to starting a startup.
